As part of one of the Contemporary Commoning research projects the so-called “Wielemaatjes” will be released on Amsterdam’s Zeeburgereiland.
Wielemaatjes are mobile objects for the neighborhood, open to multiple interpretations and forms of use. With these collective objects we’re searching for new spaces for collective ownership, dialogue and play.
We invite all inhabitants and visitors of Zeeburgereiland to share your ways of using Wielemaatjes on your favorite social media platform with the hashtag #Wielemaatjes.
Wielemaatjes are designed by architecture studio AP+E and Waag as apart of the two-year Contemporary Commoning research project on Amsterdam’s Zeeburgereiland by the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, UvA en Studio RenĂ© Boer. This project has been supported by NWO, BPD and Nautilus.
Location: Nautilus Expo Bar (Geertje Wielemaplein)
Time: 4pm
